Funny Location Signs

Funny Location Signs bear the names of places we never knew existed or thought we would ever see.

(Or that we would have any remote interest in even knowing about.)

It's hard to imagine naming places with words you couldn't use in front of your children.

But...it happens.

I grew up in High Point, N.C. The Climax sign on Highway 62 is just minutes from where I lived as a child.

Years ago, my wife and I took a trip to see some of our best friends in Chicago and Minneapolis. I'm still looking for the Welcome to Wisconsin sign I saw years ago. It said "Smell our dairy air."

One day I would like to see exactly what Hell, Michigan is like.

And before I die, I have on my list of places to visit, Badfart. I'm certain, we'll make a memory.
