We annoy people all the time; we just may not be aware of it. Why do certain things get under our skin that don't affect anyone else?

For me, the most annoying thing is for someone to sit behind me at a movie and kick my seat. That tapping bends me out of shape.

For my wife, her most annoying nuisance is for someone to smack gum or chew loudly seated close to her.

My youngest daughter's pet peeve is someone butting in before she has finished her sentence.

My oldest daughter will pop her cork if she has to stand in any line.

If you really want to annoy one of my family members, just enter their house without taking your shoes off.
